MRI Update
During all of the chaos of moving I did hear back about my MRI results! I’m very thankful for the accessibility of MyChart because my neurologist was able to send me a message about my results and I didn’t have to pay attention or be glued to my phone waiting for a call back. The MRI results show that no new lesions have formed and that means my MS is stable! I’m thrilled to hear these results, it’s the best outcome I could have hoped for.
Thankfully I was able to get myself some backup medication that is holding me over until I can get my health insurance switched over and then get in to see a doctor or a neurologist here in Maryland. Unfortunately, I have run out of the ADHD and fatigue meds and that’s not going to be immediately detrimental but instead will be a slow buildup of uncompleted small tasks that create a crashing wave of things falling apart in a few weeks or months. It has happened to me before and there wasn’t much I could do to plan ahead for that. I’m going to do my best to do the things and activities that help my brain do the braining thing well. Stretching, drumming, getting good social time in.
The next big challenge is getting everything all set up with insurance here in MD and getting the appointments set up. Let’s see how it goes.
